Broke and Blue is a quartet inspired by and specializing in the works of French jazz pianist Claude Bolling; music that artfully combines classical and jazz elements. They perform other similar light jazz music.

on the ‘hat is a relatively new ensemble of musical friends that have performed together for a number of recitals and concerts in the last few years. Some of their earliest performances were concerts of contemporary classical music, particularly that of Leila Lustig, and Diane Berry.  They were hired by the Canadian Music Centre to perform a tribute concert to Leila Lustig, which was, unfortunately cancelled due to Covid.  More recently, they have performed live-streamed events celebrating Advent and Lent.  While all three are classical musicians, their love of the music of a variety of genres has meant they each have played with other ensembles specializing in jazz, folk, and even oldies rock.  They now bring that eclectic mix together in their programs. 

Tuba4 Quartet is the most unusual of the ensembles being a combination of 3 euphoniums and 1 tuba. They provide a range of musical styles with an unusual and beautiful sound. The arrangements of familiar and interesting music allow the ensemble to showcase their individual talent and meld their instruments into one stunning sound.

5 Shadez of Blue is a combo that includes vocals, tenor sax, clarinet, trombone, guitar, bass and piano that brings that touch of jazz with beautiful renditions of jazz standards. The group size/combination can be adjusted depending on the event and venue.

The Bald Eagles specializes in music for dances but play in many other settings as well. They can even reduce the size of the band to form a trio or duet for more relaxed events. They have played at markets, in halls, at clubs at outdoor events like The Terry Fox Run and Earth Day Celebrations.
