The art of Harmonizing Music and Food is an evening of live music composed specifically for this event, paired with inspired courses, each reflecting places on Vancouver Island.
The Event Includes:
- 6 courses, specially curated by international award-winning Chef Castro Boateng to pair with the pieces of contemporary classical music, featuring locally sourced food.
- Menu, utilizing seasonally available food, available prior to the event to the event organizer
- Suggested wine pairings available for purchase at event
- Chef and Composer will provide intros/descriptions of each piece/course
- Music reflecting places on Vancouver Island and the west coast (the Vancouver Island Suite, by internationally acclaimed composer Diane Berry)
- Aerie Trio performing live music (Diane Berry, flute; Maria Wang cello; Kathryn Le Gros, piano)
- Private venue, exclusive for the event (HOB Fine Foods, Peatt Rd, Victoria) for up to 40 people, includes staffing, plates, cutlery, tables - Printed menu/programme for the event, providing a wonderful memento of the evening
- CDs of the Vancouver Island Suite available for purchase
- Price per person (minimum 25 people, maximum 40): $180 + GST
